"Congratulations to Tash who won a Certificate of Merit for the
Scholastic Art Awards of 2006! Her picture is above the certificate she's
holding."
"The Las Vegas Art Museum sponsored the Southern Nevada Regional
Exhibition of the Scholastic Art Awards of 2006. US Bank of Nevada,
MGM-Mirage Community Giving Program, and The Art Institute of Las Vegas provided
funding so each teacher in Southern Nevada had a chance to submit 10
individual student entries and 2 portfolio entries from their classes!
The awards ceremony took place on February 4th and the show was exhibited
in the gallery until the 19th. What a great way to showcase our
students' talents in the arts in Nevada!"
